As of 15 April, 2020 funding may be requested for the labour costs of highly qualified employees working in the position of research, development and innovation (R&D&I). Our colleagues will help you with compiling the application and making the request for funding.

When can you request for funding?

The employer may request for funding if he/she employs R&D associates. An R&D associate is a natural person who deals with new knowledge, intellectual work, products, services, procedures, methods, creation or development of systems or management of project implementation.

Who can request for funding and how?

It is the employer who can request for funding by ex-post accounting and should fill out a form that can be downloaded from our website.

How much funding can be requested and for how long?

The amount of funding of an employee working in the given position is 47.6 % of his/her gross wages or salary but maximum HUF 318.920 per month. The funding may be requested for 3 months after filing the request. The total amount of funding can even be HUF 956.760 per employee in three months.

What conditions shall be met?

Funding may be granted only if several conditions are jointly met. For instance, it has to be certified with a labour contract and a job description that the employee is actually engaged in R&D.
